Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do deep tissue?
Short answer is yes. Long answer is this is a commonly used term that can often be misunderstood. We do perform therapeutic massage using different bodywork techniques including Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofascial Release. These two techniques can be quite "deep" and are very effective.
Does Reiki actually work?
Reiki is a technique that has been used for more years than it has had a name. There is energy all around us and that energy can be quite powerful. Our bodies are amazing machines and are full of energy themselves. Come in and try it. Make the decision for yourself.
Do I have to take my clothes off to get a massage?
Absolutely not. Our practice is a complete no judgement zone. If you are uncomfortable, you do not have to disrobe. We can conduct a full massage with you completely clothed. This is your time and we want it to be as beneficial to you as possible. If you are uncomfortable the massage is not going to accomplish anything.
I can't lay on my back on a table. Can I still get a massage?
Absolutely! You can receive a massage in a massage chair. You can receive reflexology in a lounge chair. You can sit on the massage table. You can lay on your side on the massage table. We are very creative and wish to serve as many people as need us.

Usually, Yes! We have training in many different body work techniques. We ask each of our new clients to fill out a health history form so that we may assess any special acommidations that your body may require. There are conditions that are contraindicated for massage. We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your first massage so that we may ensure that all forms are filled out and all questions can be asked and answered without infringing on the time allocated for your massage.
What should I expect when I arrive?
A friendly greeting from a compassionate person. You will be directed to one of our massage rooms and will be asked what your goals are and your health history will be reviewed with you.
